What brand of oil do you use?
Rose City Oil uses Valvoline Full Synthetic Advanced and Valvoline Full Synthetic High Mileage to cater to your vehicle's needs.
How long can I go between oil changes?
Valvoline suggests an oil change between 3,000 and 4,000 miles or one year (whichever comes first). We place an oil change reminder sticker in the corner of your windshield, so you always know when to book your next service. If your car is under warranty, we always recommend following the manufacturer's recommendations or your vehicle’s oil life monitoring system.
Does a mobile oil change include a new oil filter?
Yes, all our oil changes include replacement of your vehicle's oil filter.
Does a mobile oil change include topping off of fluids?
Yes, our technicians will top off coolant and windshield washer fluid for all consumer oil changes.
Do you reset my vehicle's oil change reminder system?
Yes, a Rose City Oil technician will reset your vehicle's oil change reminder system and place a reminder sticker in the corner of your windshield upon completion of the oil change.
What is included in my Quick-Inspection?
As part of every oil change, a Rose City Oil technician will provide a Quick-Inspection of your vehicle. This includes checking and replacing your vehicle’s oil, installing a new oil filter, checking and replacing lost coolant and windshield washer fluid, resetting your vehicle's oil change reminder system, as well as checking the pressure and tread of your tires. After the Quick-Inspection is complete, you will receive a detailed report of your vehicle.
